Getting there:
To reach this haven of biodiversity, venture about an hour from the city either by private or public transport. Buses to Calinan depart every 15 minutes from the Annil Terminal, where you can embark on a scenic drive for a mere P30. A short pedicab ride from Calinan to the PEC will cost you P6, and before entering, the Davao City Water District will collect a nominal entrance fee of P5 for adults and P3 for kids. Once inside, the PEC entrance fee is P50 for adults and P30 for youths, 18 years old and below. Tour guiding and the use of kiosks are complimentary.
